Book Reviews

Book reviews can offer you different insights into books that you read for class or pleasure, or give you a better idea of if you might enjoy reading a particular book. A book review is more than just a synopsis or summary of what happens in a book; critical reviews give author's opinions about strengths and weaknessess in books, and examines elements such as the author's background and historical context as well as the the content and merit of the book itself.
