Tips to Prevent Infection
At the library, we have hand sanitizer and wipes for the keyboard on request. But follow these tips to prevent the spread of disease further:
- Avoid touching your mouth & nose
- Wash hands thoroughtly with soap & water, and/or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Avoid close contact with people who might be ill
- Practice good health habits including adequate sleep, eating nutritious food, & keeping physically active
- Stay home if you are sick. If you have influenza-like illness symptoms, stay home for 7 days after symptoms begin or until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours, whichever is longer. Following these recommendations will help keep you from infecting others and spreading the virus.
