PrepStep provides interactive online tests to help students succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. Under "Career Preparation", click on "Prepare for Emergency Medical Services and Firefighting Exams" to access practice exams, exam prep ebooks and electronic flashcards to help you prepare for your EMT or Paramedic Certification. Instant scoring and customized feedback is provided. First time users must register to establish a personal account for future access and record keeping. (Most other library databases use the Canvas/email logins.)
If you have not used LearningExpress Library PrepStep before, you will need to register for free. Click on Sign In/Register in the blue bar near the top of the LearningExpress home screen; follow the prompts to Register on the right side of the sign-in screen. You can choose your own username & password; we suggest using your Canvas information to make it easy to remember.
Once you are logged in, you can choose the category for the practice test you wish to take. If you are unclear as to which category is for you, you can ask a librarian for help.
