Scheduling library instruction for your classes

Librarians can:

  • Facilitate live library instruction sessions via Zoom or on campus
  • Create & provide links to recorded library instruction sessions via Zoom
  • Tailor instruction to specific assignments and topics or themes
  • Cover a variety of skill sets during the session including:
    • Topic ideas & refining topics
    • Identifying information needs
    • Finding books
    • Finding articles
    • Evaluating resources
    • Avoiding plagiarism
    • Citing resources
  • Faculty can also schedule workshops for their students  that cover basic research skills, study skills and technical skills
