Google Search Tips

Selecting and using the right keywords in your Google search will retrieve more relevant results that address your research question or topic. Here are some tips for selecting and using keywords:

1. Pick out only the main concepts or keywords from your research question or topic. Think about the most important keywords to use in your search.
2. Keywords are typically nouns. Only type in a few keywords of what you are looking for, don't include any extra words that are insignificant.
3. Expand your keywords by brainstorming for synonyms or related terms.
