Research a piece of media from pop culture and connect it to a literary movement. Argue how your piece of media is a text belonging to that literary movement.

Search for your media from pop culture (such as a TV show or video game) separately from the literary movement you will also be researching.

A few examples of pop culture media

  • stranger things (tv show)
  • euphoria (tv show)
  • on my block (tv show)
  • super mario (video game)
  • resident evil (video game)
  • grand theft auto (video game)

A few examples of literary movements:

  • romanticism
  • realism
  • harlem renaissance
  • modernism
  • beat generation
  • contemporary / postmodernism
