  • If you would like to access EasyBib from both on campus and off campus, you will need to register for an EasyBib account. EasyBib registration instructions are below:

NEW Reynolds EasyBib users:

  1. Go to https://edu.easybib.com/auth/coupon
  2. Enter the following EDU Coupon Code: JSergVA161 then click on Save.
  3. When the Register form appears, enter your First and Last name, Email address, create a Password, then select your Position and Grade.
  4. You are now ready to use EasyBib from both on and off campus. The direct URL to EasyBib is http://www.easybib.com

Users with an EXISTING Reynolds EasyBib account (those who registered before September 2016):

  1. Go to https://edu.easybib.com/auth/coupon
  2. Login with your existing EasyBib username (email address) and password. The EasyBib login link is located near the top right side of the screen.
  3. From the next screen, click on your name
  4. Enter the following EDU Coupon Code: JSergVA161 then click on Apply and Save.
  5. You are now ready to use EasyBib from both on and off campus. The direct URL to EasyBib is http://www.easybib.com

Reynolds Libraries access to EasyBib allows you to:

  1. Create citations in various styles including MLA, APA and Chicago.
  2. Create a bibliography quickly using the Autocite or Manual entry forms for over 50 source types.
  3. Use features such as parenthetical formatting and adding annotations.
  4. Export citations to MS Word or Google Docs. You can also email citations to yourself.
  5. Save and access saved citations from anywhere.

Other automatic citation generators

Automatic citation generators for APA & MLA are available via the library catalog and many library databases.  Ask a Librarian about specific databases that provide an automatic citation generator. When you select a book or article you are interested in, use the citation tool to automatically generate a citation in APA or MLA  format.
