Alma Training for Reynolds Libraries

In Alma, Search queries can be saved as "Sets." Sets can be saved as personal Sets that only you see, and then there are Public Sets that everyone has access to. Read more about saving search queries and managing Sets. 

I have created a few initial Public Sets that could be useful to Circ staff. Staff can create new Sets and determine whether to make public so that all staff can access. 

"Manage Sets" is located under "Admin" in the menu bar:

You will see a list of Public Sets which are customized for each individual campus. To run a set, click the more actions button (...) and select "Results":

• The Study Rooms set is useful for Parham circ staff to quickly get an overall look at the availability of Study Rooms - shows rooms that are checked out and also available.
• The Mobile Devices set shows the currently checked out Mobile Devices: useful if it's near closing and you want to see what may still be checked out
• The Reserves set shows the currently checked out Reserves: useful if it's near closing and you want to see what may still be checked out
